The A Team Win the Checking 1 Northern Conference

The Nottingham Mavericks A team are your 2022/23 Checking 1 Northern Conference League Champions!

After a huge 7-3 victory over the University of St Andrews Typhoons on home ice in March, the A team officially won the Checking 1 Northern Conference with one game remaining, an achievement that the team has not held since the 2015-16 season.

The A team have performed extremely well this season going undefeated, having a positive goal difference of 32 and scoring 44 goals in 6 games. The team has continually improved game after game only getting stronger after each session on the ice.

Now the team will be setting their sights on claiming the playoff title, when they eventually take on the London Dragons on the 15th April, to see who will become the Checking 1 Division champions!
